I was surprised to notice that depending on the sources, the salaries varied a lot. Many jobs have different titles, but their descriptions hare very similar. However, it gives a good idea of what is available in today's labor market.  The web industry is  new and  salaries vary greatly, from one state to another.

The following statistics are to be interpreted in a very loose manner. Some are general and can be representative for a national view and others are specific to a region. It is not easy to compare these results, because some sources give very detailed numbers, broken down to low, average and high salary ranges. Others give an average number which makes these statistics very arbitrary. The bonus information was hard to find. However, I think the information displayed gives a good overall view of what to expect.
